3. Thematic Apperception Test (TAT): This test is used to identify a person’s personality through their drawings. This test involves the subject drawing a picture of a scene, and then the psychologist evaluates the drawing based on certain criteria. The criteria used to evaluate the drawing include the size of the drawing, the amount of detail included, the use of color, and the overall composition of the drawing. By analyzing these criteria, the psychologist can gain insight into the subject’s level of creativity, their emotional state, and their level of self-esteem.

*Fun fact: when I was getting tested for ADHD I had to draw the Ray Osterrieth Complex Figure Test. It was a drawing and I always liked drawing, which made me think: HA, I will absolutely nail this test. I in fact nailed the test, just not the way I was thinking I would 😅🤣
